About Unbridled Healing
My Journey
From a young age, I always knew I would be a veterinarian. I always seemed to have a profound knack for animal behavior, bonding with any stray I stumbled across. I was always found “hanging with the dog” at a gathering. I have always felt more connected to animals than the average Joe, and rode horses at a young age. I was learning to jump when I started softball. Having that newfound passion, I left my days of riding behind, though, I never stopped pursuing a career as a veterinarian. In high school I joined the FFA and raised pigs and a steer. These experiences helped me decide to chase large animal medicine. I found my way to Texas A&M and worked as a research assistant in the ruminant nutrition lab during my undergraduate years while working toward an Animal Science degree. Most of my college career was spent behind a computer screen due to COVID, so I worked multiple jobs out of boredom. I overworked myself, and therefore didn’t spend 15 hours a day on classes like Organic Chemistry. I am a very kinesthetic learner, obviously due to my newfound career, and struggle learning online. My GPA took a hit. I applied to vet school for two cycles after graduating in 2022 and was denied. I asked God why for so long because vet school was all I had ever wanted. I finally said “God, I trust you. I am giving this to you. Show me your will,” and sure enough, He did. I found the School of Applied Integrative Therapy and completed their 500 hour course. I discovered a new dream, helping horses achieve their best performance through improving their muscle biomechanics. With that, Unbridled Healing was born. I thank God everyday for this gift he has given me, and this ability to do what I do. I learned to trust in Him, and go where He leads me. God bless!

My Credentials
Having experience working cows on the ranch, I have an affinity toward Western events and horses. I rode English as a child, but eventually found my way toward the Western world. As a rider, I have a profound respect for these animals that carry us on their backs. With my background in veterinary medicine, but desire to pursue another path, I knew I wanted to keep in touch with the wellness of horses. I have always been an advocate for human massage, as I suffered a spinal injury in my younger years, and go regularly for my back. Without my massage therapist, I would not be able to lift weights, ride horses, or help out with work on the ranch. My own experience, along with God’s revelation, solidified my calling as a Certified Equine Massage Therapist (CEMT). I obtained my certification from the School of Applied Integrative Therapy. This program has a 500 hour course tailored to produce experts in the industry. Currently, I am waiting to take the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM) exam. After this, I will be board certified. I am also looking at obtaining other certifications, including one for kinesiology taping (also something I swear by due to my own personal testimony and experience with taping). In the future, I hope to be working with red light therapy, BEMER, PEMF and more!
